What is Two Factor Authentication?
Two Factor Authentication requires "something you have" and "something you know". With fireflyMobile, the something you have is your mobile phone, and the something you know is your PIN or password together with a one time passcode.
What is a One Time Passcode (OTP)?
A One Time Passcode (OTP) is a randomly generated 6 or 8 digit number. The OTP can only be used once and expires after a set period of time or once you have been successfully authenticated.
Can I use fireflyMobile to authenticate our VPN users?
Yes you certainly can, fireflyMobile supports most popular SSL VPN gateways including Cisco, Juniper and Citrix products.
Is there an appliance version of fireflyMobile?
Yes there is, fireflyMobile is also available as 1RU appliance suitable for up to 100 users.

You can purchase a fireflyMobile SMS Gateway license. A license allows you to to install the fireflyMobile SMS gateway on your on hardware. Dragonfly can also assist you with the deployment and gateway integration with your preferred SMS provider.
How long does it take to deliver the SMS text message to the mobile phone?
Dragonfly has a secure direct link with one of Australia's largest telecommunications carrier in order to provide the best possible performance and highest level of security. SMS delivery times have proven to be between 5 - 10 seconds. Variability may occur based on your carrier and network congestion.
How do I know if my mobile phone supports fireflyMobile?
If you can receive an SMS on your mobile phone, you can receive a passcode from fireflyMobile.
Can I customise the text message?
Yes, the only restriction is the data length of the text message itself. For a plain text SMS, the date length is 160 characters excluding the OTP which can be either 6 or 8 characters long.
Is there a limit to the number of fireflyMobile users?
fireflyMobile can support an unlimited number of users provided there are sufficient physical resources in place. Our consultants will be able to assist you with planning and deploying fireflyMobile across your organisation.
